Cancelation behavior

Whenever we initiate a subscription cancelation via the API, does the system still invoke a web hook for canceled for non-payment on the next renewal date?

We need to know if cancelation should be immediate or if we can rely on the system to call our web hook to downgrade on the renewal date. Thanks.

   No. If the account is already canceled, it is ignored from then on unless it is reactivated.

   We need to know if cancelation should be immediate or if we can rely on the system to call our web hook to downgrade on the renewal date. Thanks.

   Cancelation occurs immediately.
