Create a separate report for new customers

We followed the recommendation that we create a new user for each registration to our site. That is good for tracking free users, etc.

However, the problem is that it means we have no way to know how many "new customers" are actually upgraded. We would like to know how many "new customers" are actually paying upgrades (truly new paying customers). Is there something I'm missing to report on those in the current system OR can you add this functionality for us?

Thanks,

Brandon

    Hi Brandon --

When an existing customer upgrades from a free plan to an existing plan, they won't be counted as a new customer.

To view customers that are currently on a paid plan that were once on a free plan, you could go to your customers list, use the advanced options to include only the customers on the specified plan, and then view the customer's subscription history.

We do have plans to redesign our dashboard and include analytics for this type of thing in the near future. We'll let you know when those new feature are available.

I know they won't be counted as a new customer, which is the problem. We
are unable to differentiate a truly new "paying" customer from our free
    signups.

    Hi Brandon --

You aren't the first person who has wanted this sort of functionality, and that's why we're including it in our new design. At the moment, the former solution is the best we can offer, but soon you'll be able to see exactly which customers are switching from a free plan to a paid one. I've attached you to our development ticket, so as soon as we've upgraded that functionality we'll let you know.
