Semi-annual subscriptions
In addition to the existing options for billing frequency, we'd like to see semi-annual. (We plan to offer a sub for $19.95/mo with a 6-month package for $99.70 - one month free) In fact it would be nice if your billing frequency options were more granular and flexible, e.g. "every [enter number] [ day(s) | week(s) | month(s) | year(s) ]"

Hmm... This option was there but wasn't enabled. It is now.
The storage mechanism is as granular as you suggest, however in an effort to make the interface as simple as possible while offering the options used 95%+ of the time, those are the options.
While I suppose it could be possible to create plans with the API without the GUI limitation, there are some caveats in using frequencies other than those in the dropdown. Drop a note if you really want to do this, though I don't know why you would.
