Tax/VAT
What would it take for you guys to add the ability to add tax/VAT?
What I would need is the ability to mark a customer as needing to pay tax/VAT on all his/her payments. This tax would be applied as a percentage of all payments, and included on the invoices/receipts.

Thanks Marc.
However, I noticed a small bug
If we create a new customer with VAT exempt set to false and VAT number not empty, the VAT value is not in the invoice.
Editing the customer seems to solve it:
1.edit the customer and set VAT number to empty (VAT appears in the invoice as it should)
2. edit the customer again and set VAT number back to not empty. VAT stays in the invoice

Pedro -- Thanks for the update. I'm confused. If the customer is exempt, should the invoice still display the VAT amount?
Scenarios:
Does that sound correct? To simplify, if the customer is exempt, the VAT amount is NOT displayed. If the customer is NOT exempt, the VAT amount IS displayed. The VAT number is displayed if provided whether the customer is exempt or not.

Marc, that is correct.
What I detected is that the last scenario
does not happen right after creating a new customer with those values (VAT Exempt: 0; VAT Number: 123456789)

Pedro -- Thanks for clarifying. We now have a regression test for that scenario and have tracked down the bug. You should be good to go.
