Basic Question: Credit Card Storage
Sorry for the rudimentary question, but I am new to CheddarGetter and couldn't find this answer on the board.
How does CheddarGetter handle the flow and storage of credit card information? I want to avoid my company from ever having access to our customers' credit card information - does CheddarGetter allow this information to completely bypass the merchant and store it in a "vault" or some other secure environment?
Much thanks!

Hi James,
Yes, CheddarGetter allows you to avoid the hassle of PCI compliance and credit card storage by using a secure gateway (the included gateway is called CheddarGateway, but you can use any gateway you choose). The card information is stored securely at gateway level in a virtual "vault", just as you mentioned.
Thanks,
Adam
