Non Subscription Transactions
Hi,
Is it possible to process payments for any given product other than a subscription?
E.g. for an ecommerce system?
Any articles that you have on your site would be appreciated.
Thanks
M.

Hi Mudi -- This is absolutely possible. For simplicity, the core of CG is recurring billing but this can be easily bypassed. Every customer must be subscribed to a pricing plan. There is a special plan billing frequency called "No Auto Recursion (custom)" for customers who are not on a recurring subscription, subscribe them to a plan without recursion. Then, you can either use the subscription invoice or one-time invoices over time to execute transactions on that customer. This isn't a core part of the documentation, again to keep things simple for the majority of our merchants. If you have further questions about this technique, please let us know.

Wonderful. This is not a requirement right now. But thinking about the time I spending using your api, it would be good to continue doing so for other things ... payment integration is so painfully complex at times!
Thanks
M.
