Is there a post back/URL callback for successful transactions?

Meaning, if a transaction is declined can/will you hit a URL I specify so I know to turn off my customer?

  1. Sure thing Auston. This is located under Configuration->Settings. On the todo list is a method for you to test this functionality. Essentially a test payload would be sent to the URL you specify so you can checkout the format and test your code.

CheddarGetter by default tries to continue running the customer's credit card every other day for a week or so. If they are declined too many times (3), then their account is canceled for non-payment. You can, however, use the method you suggest and force cancel the customer's subscription which will tell CheddarGetter to not bother to try running the customer's card again.

You can also ask CheddarGetter whether or not a customer's subscription has been canceled and deny/allow access accordingly.

More information on the API here.

  2. Auston -- This thread is a bit stale but we thought you'd like to know: Cancellation push notification is now available: http://support.cheddargetter.com/faqs/api-8/event-push-notification
