Features exclusive to Cheddar

Hey

I'm in the process of choosing a new billing system and was wondering what features you have that systems such as Chargebee and Chargify don't have

Most billing platforms will provide you with comparable features like credit card dunning, SaaS metric reporting, PCI compliance, customer communications, etc., and Cheddar is no exception. We offer all these basics, but what makes us different is that we focus most on a couple of key points:

   • Cheddar was designed with usage tracking in mind from the beginning.

   • By starting with usage tracking, we also make it much easier to modify and test pricing. With Cheddar, product teams can make changes to pricing without releasing new code. This frees up developer resources and empowers companies to grow revenue by rapidly iterating pricing.

   • Our pricing is designed to reflect our value to your business, not your revenue. Unlike Chargebee, for example, we offer all of our features for a single flat fee plus a per-transaction charge that doesn't go up, no matter much revenue you make. We even offer special pricing for eligible early stage companies that are just starting out.

   • We don’t force you to use one payment processor. We also never lock you in and provide data portability for your customers’ payment information so you can always switch to using a different processor.
