Final pricing when bringing external payment gateway
Hello,
We're interested in using Cheddar for our recurring-payments needs. I've got a question in regard to the final pricing of the services.
Provided that we bring our own gateway (Assembly Payments), will the Cheddar's advertised rate ($99/mo + 2.9% + 30¢ PER TRANSACTION) be the final cost of processing the payments, or should we add Assembly's processing fees on top of it?
Second, if we decided to use Cheddar's build-in payment gateway, what would the final cost be, does it caps at $99/mo + 2.9% + 30¢ PER TRANSACTION ?
Our business is operating in Australia, does that change the pricing in any respect?
Best,
Ł.

Hi Lukasz,
Thanks for your interest in Cheddar! If you bring your own gateway, Cheddar will only charge the $99/month + 30¢ per transaction, and will not charge any percentage of revenue on top of that. As for any fees owed to Assembly, you'll need to take care of those directly with them. Cheddar won't charge or process those fees, but they will factor into the total cost of payment processing for your business.
Your company's location in Australia won't affect Cheddar's pricing, but it does mean that our built-in gateway service will not be available to you, as it's only available to businesses in the US.
Let me know if you have any other questions!
Marcela
