Is it possible to add a customer to two pricing plans?

Hi Marc,

Sorry to be a bother.

Is it possible to add a customer to two pricing plans? Here is the situation: a customer is on our 'starter plan' but they also have an additional domain name that needs to be charged every year. How can I go about this?

    Hi Kayode,

    A customer cannot be subscribed to two pricing plans at once, but there are a few ways you can apply an additional charge to charge to meet your needs.

    1. Use tracked items to issue an overage amount for additional domains that will bill monthly. This would be configured most similarly to our "Charge for Add-ons" example and will simply increase the monthly bill to charge for the domain.
    2. You could also issue a one-time invoice to create an independent invoice that will bill immediately. Issuing these charges from your application is an API only feature, but you can also issue them from the CheddarGetter Admin GUI. Just go to a customer's invoice history and select the green "New One-Time Invoice" button at the top of the page.

    Do either of the methods seem like they will work for you?

    Thanks Drew,

    Both methods will work, but it is not a perfect solution. It would be great to be able to subscribe a customer to two price plans or have the option to charge annually for Tracked items.

    I will create an independent invoice for now.
