if a cancelled subscription is reactivated - what happens to all of the invoices?
So let's say a subscription is cancelled. Four months go by, and the customer re-activates it. What happens to the 4 invoices in between? Or is a new invoice started ignoring the 4 inactive months?

That is actually something we're working on. We're currently in the eval stage of solving the problem. It's tricky because typically a customer is canceled due to non-payment. It's impossible for CG to know if the customer still owes you for the failed invoice so we can't just bill them for it. There might be a pref for how this is handled. Either way, if the customer was not active during a particular billing period, the invoice for that period is never created.

If a subscription is cancelled, why would invoices still be generated at all?

Hi Bryanus -- invoices aren't created if the subscription is cancelled.
If the customer is cancelled and reactivated within a billing cycle, the customer is simply reactivated on the same cycle.
If one or more billing cycles have passed and the customer is reactivated, a new billing cycle is started upon reactivation.
