Licensing management question

Can CheddarGetter be used to define and management licensing terms and access control / entitlement management for a SaaS application? Example: We want to grant a user access to our application for 90 days. At the end of 90 days their access expires.

Can we setup a rule like this in CheddarGetter and have CG enforce it? Like, we would make an API call to your app to validate if the user still has access?

Thank you,
Anthony

Hi Anthony -- CG doesn't natively manage subscription term expiration. You'd have to enforce the expiration within your app and then cancel the subscription if the customer chose not to renew. Why not just automatically charge them for another term?
