Any way to make the monthly fee up-front?
Hi,
Is it possible to make the monthly charge portion of a subscription charged at the start of every billing cycle, and then leave any overage for the end?
Hard to tell whether this is possible (automatically) or not.
Edit: I may have confused myself. Your article states that the recurring charge occurs on the recurring schedule, but does this mean on commencement of the billing period or the end?
On an unrelated note, any further news on the improved transaction hook system?
Thanks.

Hi Alex -- It really just depends on how you look at it. Overage for the period is always billed at the end of the period. The flat recurring fee is charged every period. It's up to you to decide (via your terms of service) whether that fee pays for the next period or for the previous one.

Thanks, I think that was a useful explanation.
In the case that I wanted the recurring fee to pay for the coming period, can you confirm whether enabling 'New Customers/bill immediately on signup' will create this workflow:
Thanks again Marc

That's exactly correct.
