Hi Richard,
We're in the process of developing this, but it is not ready yet and I can't say for sure when it will be released.
There is a way to use coupon codes and discounts using our tracked item system, but we don't have an interface available for adding them yet.

Hi Adam,
Can you tell me more about the way to use coupon codes by using the tracked item system?

Hi Richa -- First, your app would know which promotions/coupons are available and provides your prospects with a mechanism for "triggering" a promotion/coupon when they signup.
To facilitate what happens in CG when a promo is triggered, you'd need to setup appropriate config in CG and then use to the API to give the necessary info to CG at customer signup.
Sorry if that sounds vague. The system is quite flexible so it's difficult discuss specifics without more info from you. What types of promotions would you like to offer? CG can facilitate many. Here's a few examples to think about: extended trial (or a trial if you don't normally offer one), a one-time discount, a recurring discount, a "secret" pricing plan, etc. Were you thinking of something in particular?

Hi,
To be specific, I am interested in providing a one-time coupon such that customer can use it while making the payment and gets the discount associated with the coupon number.
Let me know the procedure of facilitating it in CG.
Regards,
Richa

I see. Assuming you mean a one-time discount, this is very simple. When you signup the customer who has provided you with a valid coupon code, simply add a custom credit in the amount of the discount to the initial invoice. The tracked items system is not needed for this type of discount. You can find documentation on that here: http://support.cheddargetter.com/kb/operational-how-tos/credits-and...

Hi Marc,
We really need promo code support. Is it coming soon or should we bite the bullet and build this ourselves using your credit API?
