Creating new customers
Hi Meghan,
I'm trying to create new customers via the API. Typically, new
customers are using the FREE plan we have created, such that they
do not have to enter credit card information when they start using
our product.
However, from the API error log calls, I get this error:
subscription[ccFirstName]:isEmpty
From the documentation I can see that ccFirstName is a
conditional field. But the point is, we do not want our customers
to have to fill out that information when starting out on a FREE
subscription.
Are all the creditcard fields mandatory or is there a way to skip
them on the FREE subscription?

Hi Nicky,
This should be fixed now, but let us know if you're still experiencing issues creating customers via the API. Even though your current settings for your free plan are correct, it looks like a recent change in the configuration of the free pricing plan may have caused our system to think that your free plan wasn't actually free. We've corrected the problem and you shouldn't run into this issue again.
