What happens to postbacks if web application is offline?

Hello,

If my web application is offline and CG attempts to intiate a postback to the web application, how many times will CG attempt to resend the postbacks?

If so, what's the interval between each retry?

If all tries are used up, how do we query for the status? etc.

Thanks.

CG does not currently retry failed postbacks. We have that functionality on the short list of improvements. The currently plan is to retry something like 5 times at increasing intervals (e.g., 2 secs, 10 secs, 60 secs, 300 secs). We also plan to present a log of defunct postbacks with manual retry functionality.

We're currently working on a new event management framework which will facilitate this as well as many other future improvements.
