cancel event before transaction event

I recently switched to the hosted signup page, and now when a new customer signs up, I see the cancel event POST before the transaction approved event. This seems strange, because I'd expect only the transaction approved event to happen on a new signup.

    Hi Jacob -- Is this a PayPal customer? Can you send me a link to the customer record in CG?

    Yes, this seems to be only happening with PayPal customers. Here's the most

    Thanks for confirming, Jacob. We had been unintentionally sending cancel hooks for PayPal accounts when a new preapproval is initiated. During the PayPal process before the customer "accepts" the PayPal preapproval, we place the account into a special canceled state. We had not intended to send cancel hooks for this special cancel state. We just deployed a patch to stop those hooks. So, that should do it. Please let me know if we can help further and thanks for the report!
