Two things:
1) I'm trying to do a partial refund of $29.70 for this customer...
https://cheddargetter.com/admin/customers/get/id/e2a6a45d-e3d6-11e2...

And am getting this error...
(401:2004) The gateway does not support the requested action.

2) I need to remove the promo code from that same customer's account as that's the discount I'm refunded on his past transaction.

Help?

    Hi Mike --

That looks like a little interface bug because you should be able to enter an amount. PayPal doesn't support partial refunds.

    2) I need to remove the promo code from that same customer's account as that's the discount I'm refunded on his past transaction.

I've removed the promo from that subscription for you.

Gotcha. So for the refund I need to just do it manually via PayPal? Is
there any way to have that tracked in CG for accounting purposes?

If we can't do it via the API, it may not be possible directly in PayPal either. If you are successful with that, we can't reflect it in CG.

I suggest refunding the entire amount. Then, use an new invoice to charge the amount you want.
