Add items to account when created
This thread originally raised this issue:

Your response was:
You've hit on a feature we've been planning to implement. We're also planning to enable issuing custom charges/credits at the time of the subscription. Essentially, anything you can do with an existing subscription, you should be able to do when you initially create the subscription.
We implemented coupons to give monthly discounts by adding to one of our tracked item (with overage amount of -$1). However the first month is billing at full price because of the lack of ability to set tracked items at subscription time.
Is this possibly something that will come in soon (days) or do we need a workaround? If a workaround, how might we offer a $100 plan for $75 without creating a separate $75 plan? Assigning 25 -$1 items will bill at $75 in the future, but customer still gets hit with $100 first month.
Thanks.

This is the next thing on the dev team's list. I can't promise days but it will be soon.
There are a couple of rough workarounds. It works with arrears billing so if you delayed the first bill by a day or more, you'd be able to add the discount before the first bill. You could also immediately issue a discount so that the next bill is discounted double, then the third bill and subsequent bills would be normal.

Hi Marc,
Any update on this? We're now about to start our second effort that would work perfectly with this functionality but will require cumbersome work-arounds in its absence.
If you think it's coming soon, we can delay a bit to take advantage of it.
Thanks!

The team is beginning work on this as I write. It is a prerequisite for another larger project so it will be completed first. It should be ready by the end of the month.
