eWay payment gateway
Hi,
I am currently researching Saas billing options and would like to know if you plan to support the Australian based eWay www.eway.com.au payment gateway in the near future?
Cheers,
Jason

The eWay gateway appears to be compatible. Yours is the first request we've had to support it. We certainly could implement an integration.
Are you dead set on using eWay? Are you already using it? We have another, preferred gateway that can support Australian merchants.
We're happy to implement eWay if it's a deal breaker for you.

Hi Marc,
Thanks very much for your reply it's most appreciated.
My business is already gone through the merchant approval and setup on
eway and we have paid a bit already in fees. It is important to us
that we can use our existing gateway as it would be wasted effort and
money for us to change.
If it is possible to setup eway as a gateway that would be fantastic.
I really like the look of your product and of all the options I have
reviewed it is preferable.
Best regards,
Jason

Jason -- We regretfully have not had a chance to begin work on the eway integration. The good news is that when we do begin, it shouldn't take more than a week or so. If you're not dead set on eway, you can still get a merchant account from Payvision and implement the CheddarGateway: https://cheddargetter.com/admin/gateway/new.

Yep I second eWay! It's the best Australian gateway available in my opinion.

Thanks Jay. How does the CheddarGateway sound? The cost is must lower and the feature set is comparable.

Marc,
How do you go about setting this up using your existing merchant account?
Does it work with Australia banks?

Jason -- I'm not entirely sure what you mean by "existing merchant account." Do you already have something set up? If you already have a merchant account, we can probably hook it into the CheddarGateway for you. If not, you can begin the Payvision process with the app here:
https://cheddargetter.com/admin/gateway/new
It sure does.

Hey guys -- This thread is a little stale but I thought I'd let you know that we're working with EcorePay to support Australian merchants on the CheddarGateway with multiple currencies (including USD). We've been working with Daria Rippingale over there. You might give them a call to evaluate this option.

Hi Jason/Jay
Just thought I'd point out that Payment Express (DPS) has direct connectivity (i.e. overnight settlement) with all major Australian
banks.
Payment Express provides payment processing for the likes of Telstra, Woolworths, Qantas, CocaCola (AU), officemax, Amway (AU), Apple (AU), Wotif.com to name a few...
For further info on connectivity to Australian Banks, please visit http://www.paymentexpress.com/about/connectivity/australia.html
Happy to help with any other questions you may have regarding getting set up to process credit card payments.

For anyone still following this thread, I'm happy to say that we are fully integrated with the Australian eWay payment gateway.
Thanks!
