Does a non-recurring plan avoid having to ask the customer for PayPal pre-approval?
We are trying to figure out how to avoid asking the customer for PayPal pre-approval b/c we suspect that it may make some customers hesitant to buy. Is it possible to avoid the pre-approval process by offering non-recurring plans that cover fixed amounts of time but don't automatically charge the customer? For example a month-by-month plan set to non-recurring that causes the customer to have consciously pay each time? How would we go about setting this up?

Hi there --
First, I see that you have payment required on all paid plans. That setting, "Require payment method on paid subscriptions", is here:
https://cheddargetter.com/admin/configuration/settings
If that is checked, CG will always require payment on signup. If you uncheck that, CG by default will not require payment unless the signup activity itself requires payment (e.g., the pricing plan is configured to bill on signup). In short, if you uncheck that option and the plan does not inherently require payment on signup, the preapproval will not be required.
