Hi, I have a few pre-sales questions:

  1. Do you have any examples of clients who are using the hosted pages with PayPal. I signed up for a free account, but can't see the process of paying through PayPal.

  2. How do customers cancel their subscriptions? Do they receive an account where they can login and manage their subscriptions? I don't see this.

  3. Are customers required to have a PayPal account? Some websites allow customers to pay using PayPal, but they don't have to go through the process of creating a PayPal account

The process is simple. When in simulation mode, you can get a sense of what it's like. CG simulates the workflow. The customer fills in their basic information (name, email) on your site or the hosted payment pages. Then the customer is redirected to PayPal. The customer then logs into their PayPal account and either approves or declines the "preapproval". Soon, we'll have some screenshots in CG's simulation which will show the workflow exactly.

You must manage your own customer's username/password. CheddarGetter aides with authorization, you handle authentication. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Authentication#Authentication_vs._auth...

For PayPal standard payments, yes. PayPal's "guest" credit card payments are incompatible with PayPal's own preapproval functionality. However, CG can use PayPal Payflow Pro or Website Payments Pro to accept credit cards directly.
