Question for $0 initial invoice with no CC
Hey guys-
Question. If we apply a credit to the first invoice for a customer that is greater than the invoice, when the first invoice is transacted, will it go through properly even without a CC, or does CheddarGetter first look for a CC and then fire off a cancel hook because one isn't included?
Thanks!

If the invoice comes due and it's for $0, payment method isn't even considered.

Cool.
So, if a customer wanted to pay us directly for a year without a CC (via say, a check), then a viable route would be to simply apply a credit for one year's worth of $$, and then they should transact $0 invoices just fine for the next year? That's the approach I am taking.
Thanks!

That works. FYI, we're planning an "offline" payment method that will include hooks for accounting packages. Hopefully that will be ready early 2014.
