Customisable email templates
Hello! We are currently using another subscription service, which has served our needs well until now. However, now that we are expanding, we have found that there is no way to customise emails for different payment plans / different one-off payments / different products on similar payment plans.
How flexible is the email customisation with Cheddargetter? Would we be able to send a different email with each different subscription / one-iff payment? And are we able to include different languages depending on the languge of the website used to create the subscription? We currently offer services in Spanish, English and Welsh.
Thank you for your help!

Hi Lestyn -- There is quite a bit of flexibility there. First, our email template system enables customization to a surprising degree. It requires some familiarity with Smarty syntax but generally anything is possible. You can even use different languages.
I'm confident that our template system can fulfill your needs, however, it might be easier for you to use our hook system instead to notify your app to send the email. The hook system is documented here:
http://support.cheddargetter.com/kb/operational-how-tos/web-hooks-s...
There is a hook event for every email template type so instead of using our email templates, your app would listen for the appropriate hooks and then send out the email according to your requirements.

Hi Marc!
Thank you very much for your quick reply - that looks very interesting, and seems considerably better than our current set-up. I may very well be back for more info soon!
Gracias, Thank You and Diolch,
Iestyn
