hi team,
we want to integrate CG with our paypal premium account
so, quick questions:
1) Can customers without paypal account pay by credit cards
directly?
2) Can we fully customize the payment pages?

Just learnt from KB that currently CG+Paypal integration does not support "guest" credit card payment, pity...
Can we use CG to serve as payment gateway and Paypal to server as merchant account?

Unfortunately PayPal's Preapproval functionality is not compatible with PayPal's "guest" credit card acceptance. There's a blog post about that here: http://blog.cheddargetter.com/post/4417605518/paypal-standard-v-web...
The good new is that you can accept direct credit cards. However, you'll probably need to get started with PayPal only. Then after you get some traction, get a traditional merchant account and CheddarGateway. We can help you with that when the time comes.
