Hi Vikram - We do not currently support QBMS merchant accounts. It has come up before but there is little demand for it. We do have an option for custom processor support but this would come with a fee to develop and support the custom adapter.

HI Marc,
What is the fee to develop that adapter
Thanks

Can we use authorize.net as a merchant account?

Hi Vikram -- Absolutely you can use Authorize.net. May I ask where you are based? We have many merchants on Authorize.net.
Best,
Dean

And how can I set that up in CG
Support Staff 7 Posted by Marc Guyer on 03 Jul, 2013 01:16 PM
Hi Vikram -- Turn on the "Direct Credit Card" option and select Authorize.Net in the dropdown here:
https://cheddargetter.com/admin/setup/billing-solution
Then, after you convert to the Blowing Up plan, you can configure your live Authorize.Net credentials.

Hi again --
Custom adapters are $2000 with a credit for your first $1000 on the Blowing Up plan. So your net cost is $1000.

Thanks Marc,
I would not need a separate Merchant account in this case? Button which says Get Account.?
Support Staff 10 Posted by Marc Guyer on 05 Jul, 2013 01:27 PM
Hi Vikram - No, you don't need to use the "Get Account" form if you already have an Authrorize.Net account.

Thanks Marc.
Can you please also let me know what are the benefits of using default CG payment gateway and configuring a merchant account with of your preferred provider.

Hi Vikram -- Our payment gateway is included in our 'Blowing Up' plan, so it's a significant cost savings to you since you won't need to obtain a third party provider. Moreover, you'll be working directly with us for each service instead of multiple parties.
We've spent years working with merchant processors, and overtime weeded out the lackluster companies. We've referred our customers to the ones we've found to have good customer service, accessibility, and rates.

Which is the best merchant account provider to integrate with CG?
14 Posted by Dean on 11 Jul, 2013 02:34 PM
Hi Vikram -- Where are you based?
15 Posted by Dean on 11 Jul, 2013 03:31 PM
Sorry, Vikram I see now. Reston, VA. We have a valued partner in Gravity Payments for US merchants.

Hi Dean,
What is their fees. We are authorize.net resellers so I have to run a comparison. Using which gateway would save us money
17 Posted by Dean on 15 Jul, 2013 01:38 PM
Hi Vikram -- Sorry for the delay. Gravity Payments sets their own fees. If you'd like to explore their option, please fill out the short merchant form here: https://cheddargetter.com/admin/gateway/new. You'll see a list of providers there that are compatible with our native gateway. Using one of those processors will allow you to use our gateway which comes free with our Blowing Up plan. You'll need to number crunch these solutions to see which is the best option for you.

I notice now you're already using Authorize.net. This solution works fine and many of our merchants are set up this way. You might consider sticking with them for now to get off the ground quicker and start collecting revenue. Rest assured we can seamlessly alter your solution down the road.

Hi Dean,
Authorize.net requires setup fees. per transaction fees. how much do u think it will save us if we go for gravity payments. I have filled up the form but havent heard back on this. I wanted to get the comparison chart ready as early as possible.
thanks for your help
Vikram

Hi Vikram -- I don't see any record of you filling out the form. You completed this?
