Error code test conflicts with real zip codes?
Looking at the docs here: http://support.cheddargetter.com/kb/api-8/error-simulation
What if a customer comes from a zip code such as 05001? Then this
person gets the 5001 error message? How do you separate out error
tests from real customers trying to buy?

Hi Chris -- Yes, that's an issue we've intended to remedy for some time. Essentially, we just need to add a preference to turn off error simulation functionality. Do you have a customer with the conflict right now?

Hi Marc,
A not insignificant amount of the time we've seen customers get billing errors (AVS, general transaction issues, etc.), they end up entirely abandoning their subscription attempt and we never see them again.
So while we don't have a specific customer issue right now from White River Junction, VT (05001) or Redding, CA (96001) or any of the myriad other disallowed zip codes, who knows how many customers and how much revenue we've lost because of it?
The fact that dozens of US zip codes are blocked from making payments via CheddarGetter is a bug that clearly needs to be fixed, and it sounds like you already have a valid and simple solution in mind.

Hi Dan - I appreciate your concern. We'll add this to the short list.
