Effort to reduce fraud
Hi,
So far, what efforts could we use to reduce fraud? Since last time when we are using one of the provider, quite some people use stolen credit cards to pay us, and in the end we got chargeback which result in loss on our side.
We have been looking for a provider that can minimize that fraud.
Thank you.

That's a deep question. For cards issued in the US, using AVS is effective. However, if the card is from outside the US, AVS is not supported. Using CVV is effective for any card issued anywhere. However, if the thief has the card in hand, then they have the CVV. Gateways also have built in fraud protection tools. Our own gateway has an iSpyFraud service which enables merchants to setup filters based on a variety of criteria.
