data portability
Hi there,
Last night I signed up for an account with cheddar. We are excited to start testing your product. I have a question about data portability. Do you offer a way for us to store all our credit card numbers safely (PCI compliant) and allow us to own this information in case, down the line in the future, we change merchant account providers. Thanks in advance for the help.

Hi Todd -- All data stored at CheddarGetter is 100% portable. CheddarGetter does not store your customer's credit card data, only a token. The token corresponds to the customer data record at the gateway. Our own CheddarGateway provides an official channel for pulling decrypted credit card data. Most other gateways do not.
You can change merchant account providers any time. This is unrelated to credit card number storage.
