Features by Plan

I'm wondering if CheddarGetter can support the following ...

Let's say that we have three plans, A, B and C. Plans B and C have the super search feature but plan A doesn't.

We'd ideally like to store this in CheddarGetter so that our code doesn't have to store plan specific info. Can CG store this type of thing on a per plan basis?

Thanks.

Certainly. Tracked items can be used for this purpose. Use a tracked item like a boolean variable. If the item for the plan has a quantity included of "1" then the super search feature is included in the plan. If "0", then it doesn't. If the customer has the feature, set the customer's quantity to "1" (not really necessary but is more tidy). You could even charge an extra fee for the plan that doesn't include the feature by using an overage amount.
