Lag time between "Next Bill Date" and "Cancel Date"
Marc,
A while ago you posted that
"The canceledDatetime is only set if the subscription is canceled automatically by CG due to non-payment or an expired credit card or manually by you. "
On a non-payment or expired credit card, should I expect X lag days between the "next bill date/scheduled bill date" and a "canceled date"?
I know that your Smarty email will send a "Canceled Non-Payment" email to the customer and BCC me.
I am curious about the time lag - if any - between an "attempted charge that fails" and setting of he "cancel date/ cancellation" of the customer.
thanks

By default, CG retries a declined card a few times over 10 days. So, you can expect a lag of 10 days or so before the subscription is auto-canceled for non-payment. Alternatively, if the customer's credit card is expired as of the bill date, the subscription is immediately canceled (no lag).
