Customer Switching Plans
I have a monthly plan set up to bill $40 at the start (a setup fee of sorts) and $39/month (at the end of the month) thereafter. These customers get 4 "items" per month. I have a yearly plan that bills $349 immediately upon setup. These customers get 52 "items" per year.
What will happen if a Monthly Plan customer who is set to renew on August 26th switches to the Yearly Plan on September 1st? What will he pay and how will his "items" work out?

FWIW, I apologize if this is answered elsewhere. I'm just looking for confirmation. What I told the guy was that if he switched plans he'd be billed the $39, get four "items" through September 26th, and then on September 26th would be billed $349 and get 52 for the next year. I think that's correct.

I'd need to examine your plans. It depends on your plan change config. You might find this article helpful:
