Hi -- We do have plans to implement the hosted solution, however the project has been pushed back to make room for some other more pressing features. Our current expectation is to complete the hosted solution before the end of the year.
I think you'll find using the API to be fairly straightforward. There are many language-specific wrappers available as well.
