In https://cheddargetter.com/developers#add-customer, there are parameters like:

  • items[<user-defined>][itemCode]
  • items[<user-defined>][quantity]

Is the value we provide in <user-defined> used/stored anywhere, or is it just to uniquely identify the parameters during the context of the call (i.e. we can use "1", "2", etc.)?

    No

    Yes

If there is a validation error with the item, the auxCode will include the key that you specified, so you can attribute that back to your own code. Otherwise, it just doesn't matter what it is, as long as they're unique.
