Delete a promotion from customer account?
Is it possible to remove or disable a previously applied promotion from a customer account?
I tried doing an edit-subscription
API call with
couponCode = ''
but nothing happened.

Hi Frank, we don't currently have a method for doing that. We can do it manually for you though. When we designed the system, we considered this but didn't foresee every possible reason. What is the use case for doing this?
Let me know which customer/subscription you would like to have the promotion removed from and we'll take care of it.
Thanks,
Adam

The question came up while writing unit tests for a new service I'm building, I wanted to make sure I covered all functionality.
So I don't have a real customer that needs it removed, however I've been doing ecomm for too long now. I'm sure some customer somewhere will do something that necessitates removing a discount.

Ok, understood. I agree that there is a definite possibility of it happening eventually, but since the quantity is unknown we'll likely leave it as a manual process until it becomes apparent that a new function is necessary. Thanks for the input!

Agreed, I wouldn't expect you to automate that process without a concrete use case (sorry, should've been clearer in my reply).
I got what I need to finish my test cases, so thanks very much.
