Payment Gateways?

Hello Cheddar Team,

Where can I find a list of accepted payment gateways and if my gateway is not compatible is there a process to make it compatible?

Specifically, our gateway is called “Merchant eSolutions”

   Hi! We support Authorize.net as well as our own CheddarGateway. We do not support Merchant eSolutions. We can hook your existing merchant account into the CheddarGateway if you'd like to migrate.

   Ok, thanks Marc. If we decide to do that I'll probably need more info. Just quickly though, do you mean we can keep our existing Merchant eSolutions gateway and just route it through your cheddar gateway? Or do you mean we would need to move completely over to the Cheddar Gateway?

   You would need to move to CheddarGateway. We could hook your existing merch account into CheddarGateway and both gateways would work simultaneously. Once you were satisfied with the migration, you could turn off the other.

   We currently use Merchant E-solutions as our merchant vendor. Will the Cheddar Gateway work with their systems

   Hi! Merchant E-Solutions is a gateway. In other words, it performs the same type of service as CheddarGateway. There is, however, a merchant account behind the scenes which is the real connection between your customers' credit cards and your bank account. If you'd like, you can connect your merchant account to CheddarGateway in order to use CheddarGetter. You could even continue using the Merchant E-Solutions gateway if you have it tied to other payment applications while using the CheddarGateway for the CheddarGetter service.

   Thanks Marc for your quick response. We actually use Merchant E-solutions as both our gateway and our processing. Do you interface with ALL merchant vendors (ie. Merchant E-solutions)?

   Yes, we can interface CheddarGateway with MeS Trident, the Merchant E-Solutions processor. We'd just need your MeS processing set up sheet and you could be up and running.
