Last year you've asked users what kind of analytics should be present in Cheddar. Could you tell me how development goes on this.
And I've been reading some other questions about this topic and you keep referring to other "big projects". So could you please share of this since I am curious what to expect and when.

    Hi Michiel,

We're currently working on the next version of our platform and API, which will be the basis for several new features and updated analytics functionality. This new version is a major project, and it's our highest priority right now. We've taken into account the feedback we've gotten from our customers about what they'd like to see, and we're excited about what we're going to be able to offer. :)

The new features and visible improvements we have planned for Cheddar depend on the completion of some pretty major work being done behind the scenes for our new version. We don't have a specific timeline yet, but I can assure you that this the primary focus of our engineering efforts and our team is making good progress!

We'll be sure to let everyone know when the new features become available! In the meantime, please let us know if there's anything we can help you with. :)

If we decide to implement the current version of Cheddar, how hard will it be to switch to the new platform?

    Hi Jan,

It's always our goal to make new versions of the platform backward compatible with the older version. We have customers who have used Cheddar through multiple versions and have made few (if any) changes to their Cheddar integration.

The new version of the platform will offer some optional features that will require an update to your integration to use, but we have hundreds of customers who use the current version of the platform, so we'll continue to support it for the foreseeable future.

We'll also do our best to provide a pathway for our current customers to start using the new platform with as little work as possible. We'll map out the transition process to share with customers and determine if there are any features or services we can offer to simplify that process.

So you know, we don't have a set timeline for the new version yet because we're still working through the initial stages of this project. We've begun work on some new features, but have yet to get those features to the testing stage. We'll make sure to let all of our existing customers know when we have updates!

@happy wheels, We are an early stage venture that is launching a booking platform to take recurring payments largely through cheddar. We tried clicking on the link on the home page but this doesn't go anywhere. Would it be possible for us to do this?

We are a startup primarily accepting recurring payments through cheddar, and we are developing a booking platform to facilitate this. We tested it by going to the homepage and clicking the link, but nothing happened. run 3
