Can we change how we handle expired credit cards
I was looking to see if there is a way to handle expired credit cards similar to declined charges? As of now, an expired card causes immediate downgrade. While declined charges, we send 4 notifications every other day prior to downgrading their account.
Thanks-
Ryan

Hi Ryan,
The payment method expiring email notifications (which you have enabled in your product account) function similarly to dunning for declined charges. The payment method expiring email is sent to customers who have a payment method on file that will expire before their next invoice due date or has already expired 3 times before the customers next invoice (14, 7, and 2 days prior to the invoice being run). If the customer hasn't updated their payment method when we run the invoice, they are auto-canceled, but they're given plenty of opportunities to update their payment method before this happens.
Hope this helps Ryan, but let me know if you have any other questions.
Meghan
