Accept AMEX

Hi,

We have a client that wants to pay with AMEX and he said that the payment isn't going through.
I have read in one of your support articles that AMEX is accepted, no?

    Hi Yannis -- CG can accept amex but whether or not your PayPal Pro account is capable of it is up to PayPal. Amex is different than VISA/MC on the merchant account side and is typically a different setup process. Get in touch with your rep at PayPal to get setup with amex processing.

    Hi Marc,

    This customer cannot pay through paypal, it keeps canceling his account
    after the payment.
    We went through the payment together and everything seemed to be working.
    He chose the plan, he entered Paypal and made the payment. After that he
    received a message that the payment was successful and then he keeps
    getting emails that his account was cancelled.
    Please advise, as he is waiting to make the payment.

    Hi Panos -- The error we're getting back from PayPal for this payment is:

    The payment can not be processed because no payment source is available

    That means the paypal account doesn't have a way to make the payment. The only option we have is for the customer to contact paypal to inquire why this is happening.

    Hi Marc,

    The client has contacted paypal and the payment went through. Paypal needed
    some kind of verification because it was an international payment?
