Email template for change subscription
Is there a way to access the old plan that they are changing from in addition to the new plan that they are changing to in the smarty template?

No. If that's important to you, we might be able to set that up for you.

Yes, that would be very helpful. The tone and goals of the email are very different when it's an upgrade versus a downgrade.

Just released an update for this. There is now a new set of vars in email templates called $previousPlan.XXXXXX (check the syntax ref). We don't have a way of knowing if a plan change is an upgrade or downgrade so you'll have to add your own logic for that. Let me know how that goes.
