How is the Churn calculated in CheddarGetter?

How do you calculate Churn?

Do you include the signups and cancels of the Free Plans? Or do you only take the Payed Plans in the calculation?

    Hi Bert -- A description of how Churn (and other metrics) is calculated on the dashboard is shown on the flipside of the module. Just click the little green square button with the cog wheel icon to see the flipside. Here's the current content for your convenience:

    Churn rate indicates the percentage of paying customers lost each month.

    Churn rate is calculated for each month end as: churns during the period / paying customer count at the beginning of the period

    A churned customer is one who had previously paid, then canceled or downgraded to a free plan

    A paying customer is one who is on a paid plan
