Hi. My company (TwelveX see twelvexgiving.com) builds Monthly Engaged Giving (MEG) programs for non profit organizations. We are looking for a way for our clients to process recurring gifts throught PayPal. Currently using a reliable, but albeit rigid processer that allows branding of their landing page (branding a must).

Hi Jackson -- CheddarGetter will probably work for you. What are you looking for specifically? If you detail the functionality you require, we can address your question.

    Hi Marc,
    Thank you for the reply.

Following are some functionalities that we like:

First, we like the flexibility of PayPal's "interface". That is, donors can use mobile, ach, debit, credit card for payment.

Second, we like PayPal's brand for its acceptance and security.

Third, CG's packaged 'wrapper' that enables defined payment levels (which is how we frame the donation page on our client's sites).
If you go to www.feedingwyomingtoday.org and click on "join us" you can see an example of the typical stepping off point (from our site to payment processor site).

Couple of things that might be different from your typical current customers:
    1. need a reporting portal that our clients can access required donation history
    2. automatic notification to donor of payment/donation
    3. customized self service portal for donors to access their account and make changes.

Not having seen one of your sites, I have to add customized 'wrapper'(has to be branded specifically for each client)to the above.

Keep in mind, we are not payment experts by any stretch. Our goal is to have the singular most easy to donate (monthly payments only) site on the planet.

Also, we have no understanding of how PayPal interface works.

Hope this information gives you enough background.

    Best,

    Hi Jackson,

I'll respond to your questions in line below:

Second, we like PayPal's brand for its acceptance and security.

We're definitely able to accept PayPal payments. What kind of Paypal account are you using? e.g. Standard, Website Payments Pro, Payflow Pro, etc.

Third, CG's packaged 'wrapper' that enables defined payment levels (which is how we frame the donation page on our client's sites). If you go to www.feedingwyomingtoday.org and click on "join us" you can see an example of the typical stepping off point (from our site to payment processor site).

You can set up defined payment levels very easily in CG: we call them Pricing Plans, and you can see all the various options for setting them up here:
    http://support.cheddargetter.com/kb/pricing-plans/pricing-plan-basics

Couple of things that might be different from your typical current customers: 1. need a reporting portal that our clients can access required donation history

We do not have any customer-facing portal, but our API allows your developers to build one very easily.

    1. automatic notification to donor of payment/donation

We have an entire system for automated email communication. You can customize these emails to match your organization's look and feel, and customize what each email says in a variety of different scenarios (new subscription, upgraded subscription, cancellation, expiring payment method, etc).

    1. customized self service portal for donors to access their account and make changes.

We do have a simplified version of this called Hosted Payment Pages that allows your customers to subscribe, upgrade/downgrade, or cancel their subscriptions:
    http://support.cheddargetter.com/kb/hosted-payment-pages/hosted-pay...

Not having seen one of your sites, I have to add customized 'wrapper'(has to be branded specifically for each client)to the above.

Hosted Payment Pages are customizable using your logo, color scheme, and even all custom CSS if you choose to do so.

Keep in mind, we are not payment experts by any stretch. Our goal is to have the singular most easy to donate (monthly payments only) site on the planet.

That is a lofty goal! I think that you could achieve it though by using CheddarGetter and hiring a great developer.

Also, we have no understanding of how PayPal interface works.

Most people don't. It's a mess. But we support it as best we can.

    Hope that helps!
    Adam

    Hey Adam,
Great talking to you yesterday. We'll probably have our designer Roger Ridpath (Ridpath Creative) give you a call. He's worked on our sites and has a good understanding of where we want to go with the payment page.

    Thanks,

    Jackson

    Hi Jackson,

Sorry for the delay in sending these.

    Here are our Developer Docs:
    https://cheddargetter.com/developers

Knowledge Base articles about API integration:
    http://support.cheddargetter.com/kb/getting-started-19/quick-start-guide
    http://support.cheddargetter.com/kb/api-8/sample-integration-roadmap

Documentation for how to set up Pricing Plans:
    http://support.cheddargetter.com/kb/pricing-plans/pricing-plan-basics

    And now some examples...

These are all CheddarGetter clients using our API to create their own
hosted signup pages. Note that most of our them allow you to create a user
account first, then you are prompted to pay later...

    Examples of signup pages:
    http://goodebox.com/ (click Join)
    https://zferral.com/signup/vc
    https://www.proposable.com/signup/PRO

    Some nice Pricing plan pages:
    http://www.perkville.com/pricing/
    https://www.yottaa.com/pricing
    http://www.getdonedone.com/plans-pricing

Please have Roger reach out via our support system after he has read
through the developer docs and spoken to you about your desired specs. Then
I can help him map out the best way to do this integration so it will work
well with all of your microsites.

    Thanks!
    Adam
