delay charging a declined card

A customer's card was declined, and they asked if we could delay charging the card for a few days. Is there a way to do this?

    Not at this time. We do intend to introduce a configuration option so that you may choose how often a charge is attempted and how many times a card may fail before cancellation. Currently, the charge is attempted every second day and auto-cancellation occurs after the 5th decline in a row.
