How long till a subscription is cancelled?
I'm doing some testing on our application that uses CG to make sure we cancel the user's service if their payments stop. From the default emails sent to users to inform them their card has been declined:
"We will continue to attempt to charge your credit card for the past due invoice over the next several days or so but eventually we'll give up and your subscription will be canceled."
How long is "several days", and is that period of time configurable?
I have some accounts (billed daily) that are now 4 days overdue, and the account has not yet been canceled, and I'm wondering how long I'll have to wait.
Hope you can help.

Hi Martin -- CG makes 5 attempts over 8 days (1 every 2 days). After the 5th attempt, the subscription is auto-canceled.

Fantastic - thank you for the information. Is that time period and frequency configurable per plan/account/at all?

Hi Martin -- No, this is not currently configurable in CG. If you'd like to cancel sooner than 8 days or 5 attempts, you can listen for the transaction hook and issue a cancelation according to your specs.

Thanks for that!
Martin.
