regarding subscription start date

Hi,
We are planning to integrate your API into our application(php). We have some doubts in some of the user subscription functionalities and which are given below.

1) Is it possible to change the subscription recurring billing date once a subscription is created(if a subscription is already running) ?
For Instance:
A user is having a monthly subscription, and he gets one month subscription for free as some kind of bonus. Then we should not charge him for the next month. ie we need to extend his next billing date by one month.
2) Is it possible to manage the plans(subscription packages) through our application ie create/edit?
we already have an admin interface to manage subscription and when we do this, it should update your server also in parallel.
3) is it possible to completely retrieve the already saved credit card details from cheddargetter(not the masked CC number)?

Please reply ASAP so that we can go ahead without any worries.

Best Regards,
Pradeep

    1. It is not possible to change the billing date after the subscription is created. We could do this manually for you if necessary. We may include this feature in the future. A workaround for your scenario (arguably the correct way) would be to enter a custom credit for the amount of the monthly amount which would effectively make their next bill zero dollars.
    2. Creating/editing pricing plans via the API is not supported at this time. We may include this feature in a future upgrade. How often would you need to create/edit plans?
    3. It is not possible to retrieve full credit card numbers directly from CG. This is not a limitation of CG but rather a PCI compliance issue. Since the card data is stored remotely (not in CG), it is up to the remote storage service whether or not this data can be obtained. You must have a high level of PCI compliance certification to get the data.

Changing the billing date manually in the UI would be terrific (this is possible via authorize.net's ARB solution). We often bill clients a couple of days late for their first bill but then want to get them back on track in subsequent bills.

Yup -- We agree that this would be a welcome addition. It's on the todo list.

Thanks very much Marc for the valuable comments.
    Sorry for my belated reply.
If it is not able to change the billing date once a subscription is created, then we can cancel/delete that subscription and create new for that user?

creating /editing plans will not happen frequently,I thought of integrating it to CG so that manually doing it can be avoided.

For now, as a workaround, it would be necessary to delete the customer and recreate entirely.

This functionality will likely be available via the API within the next quarter.
