I want to set up a special deal for a customer. I think i have multiple options:

  1. Create a discount on a current plan. But can I make a special, recurring discount for 1 customer?
  2. Make a dedicated plan for this customer, but we use the API and I don't want this plan to show up in the options for other customers.

any suggestions?

regards, Jeroen

    Hi Jeroen --

You can do that either way.

We like to use a negative $1 overage amount on a tracked item to enable any type of discount. That way you can issue a recurring discount to anyone for any amount in $1 increments. More on that here: http://support.cheddargetter.com/kb/pricing-plans/pricing-plan-basi...

You can also create a separate plan. The isActive flag for a plan can be used to distinguish between publicly available plans and secret ones.
