Merchant Accounts Supported Non-US?
Hi there,
I can't seem to find any topics that directly answer two questions I have.
1) Can I use a PayPal business account to accept payments --if I
use the Cheddar Getter gateway?
2) What other merchant accounts to do you integrate with from
Canada?
Thanks!

I found an answer to my first question but not my second.
What other merchant accounts to do you integrate with from Canada?

PayPal and CheddarGateway are mutually exclusive methods of accepting payments. PayPal options are confusion. You can accept PayPal account to PayPal account payments via CheddarGetter. In this setup, your customer must hava PayPal account and when subscribing, they must be redirected to the PayPal website to "approve" a billing agreement between you and the customer.
PayPal also has options for accepting direct credit card payments. However, I suggest using CheddarGateway for this. That leads to your next question:
If you fill out the merchant account form, we'll put you in touch with the best merchant account provider for merchants based in Canada.

I was not clear in my original question.
Can I use PayPal as a merchant account in conjunction with the CheddarGetter gateway?
Another question: Can I integrate CheddarGetter with PayPal Payments Pro but use the CheddarGetter hosted payment page?
Thanks for the quick response!

PayPal Payments Pro is a "gateway". If you use it, CheddarGetter's built-in gateway is unnecessary. Yes, you can use PayPal Payments Pro with CheddarGetter.
Yes.

If I use PayPal Payments Pro with the CheddarGetter hosted payment page, am I within PCI compliance?
