XML formats

I'd like some better documentation on the XML formats. At the very least, which types the various elements are. It would also help to have a sentence (or a few) per element for people like myself who are totally unfamiliar with online billing practices.

Also, your example XML shows a gatewayAccount element having an (empty) id attribute, while in my live data the id is a child element.

Hmm... I think what you're looking for here is an xsd. Is that correct? If so, attached is the latest xsd for reference.

It would also help to have a sentence (or a few) per element for people like myself who are totally unfamiliar with online billing practices.

Well, we're here to simplify this as much as possible. Do you have any specific questions? We'd be happy to answer them.

Also, your example XML shows a gatewayAccount element having an (empty) id attribute, while in my live data the id is a child element.

This was updated in the XSD and in the example XML. FWIW, the gatewayAccount element is superfluous information in the typical integration.
