CheddarGetter + Zong?
Hey everyone,
We're interested in using Zong to allow users to pay subscriptions
with the mobile phone. I can't imagine that CheddarGetter is
currently supporting this service. If not, is there a way to wrap
the Zong API so that CheddarGetter can use it?

Josh -- We've looked into this type of thing before. It's unfortunately not flexible enough to be used for subscriptions in CG. Zong has an API for subscriptions but it seems that the transaction amount is managed externally. CG at it's core is a subscription management system. The pricing and the billing cycle are managed within CG. If the payment processor doesn't allow CG to initiate a transaction autonomously, then the processor is not compatible.
Payment via mobile phone provider is neat but mostly for one-time payments. Zong's API appears to only be available for payments by US mobile customers.
