Create a viral discount promotion
I'd like to offer clients the ability to invite their friends to try our service, and if their friend signs up, the referrer will get a credit on their account - for every sign up. Is that possible with CheddarGetter? Something like an affiliate program for current clients.

You certainly can. CG doesn't manage affiliate programs directly but you can issue a credit against a customer's next invoice at any time. http://cheddargetter.com/api#add-charge
